Well, the best breakfast in town is dead. After coming there tis weekend we discovered that the price has been raised to a rather steep 45 kuai, but thought that it hopefully meant that the quality that has been less good lately (compared to last summer) had increased equally. So is NOT the case though: the delicious home made passion fruit yoghurt has been replaced with cheap grocery store plain yoghurt packages, the cheese and meat platter is gone and the toilet is as badly taken care of. To make matters worse we didn't get our omelettes even though we waited half an hour efter ordering them, and reminding him once. Go for an a la carte breakfast in xintiandi or at wagas instead.

best deal in town for a breakfast (7 days a week) at 28rmb/person (that's around 3 bucks, or under 3 Euros) all you can eat buffet, although it ends a little early (10am). western style buffet with very good french pasties. you can then stroll to Xintiandi, located 2 blocks away.
