incredibly pleased. First restaurant in Shanghai where we weren't rushed to decide our orders. Being Thai, I tend to be critical with the thai food i have. I wasn't disappointed. They didn't tone down the flavor to western tastes. The salads weren't overtly sweet. Coconut milk wasn't over-used in curries. Service is really good. No attitudes and no pushiness. Am satisfied. Will recommend this place to friends. Do give this place a try!

This restaurant is fabulous. The patio is beautiful, but, as I just recently discovered, so is the indoor restaurant. The pomello salad is spicy, sweet and delicious; their pad thai is unique in a great way; and the duck and pineapple curry is a must. Dare I say that Baan Thai is tastier than both Simply Thai and Coconut Paradise (also slightly cheaper). I highly recommend Baan Thai- both its food and ambiance are top notch.

From Thai's opinion, I think the foods here taste same in Thailand, compare to the other places that I went to.

I've been here twice - once on a date and once as part of a larger birthday party - and was very happy with the food and the service on both occasions. the salads and the curries were sufficiently spicy and the fish cakes made an excellent starter. Price-wise it's reasonable and there's a great selection of wines. The outdoor dining area is a major plus and is perfect for summer dining. one of the better Thai food restaurants in town. thumbs up.

Didn't start well as there was no table ready for us and they didn’t seem to have any record of our booking. Food was okay but not great considering the price. Service was really awful! We had to continually ask to be served; even getting the menu was hard work! We ordered 5 starters and only one turned up after a 50 minute wait. The rest came with the main courses about an hour after that! In their defense it was a Saturday night and fairly busy, but not packed by any means. Doubt we'll be going back. It’s a shame as it looks like it could be a really nice restaurant if they got their act together. The outside dining area is lovely

This is a perfect place when the weather gets warmer, the outdoor dining area is very cozy. But the indoor dining area is not very impressive,it doesnt feel very Thai. The curry dishes are excellent, other dishes are only a "ok" for the price. The service is all right, but no big smile,no warm welcome! still a lot to be improved! definately will go back again in summer to try the outdoor tables

Went on V'Day so not sure how it is on regular days... set menu for two of course. 488rmb. My date is pretty picky with Thai food and she approved. Not exactly authentic Thai food but has a bit of fusion involved. nice simple environment. good place for a date. would recommend to ya'll to try
