Editor's Description
Named after that little street those wacky Beatles trotted across, Abbey Road has become one of the most popular summer venues in Shanghai. With patio seating, cheap beer on tap and lots of (at times unfortunate) classic rock, this bar/restaurant is the ultimate expat venue. Abbey Road's menu includes mostly Swiss fare interspersed with some American.

Sasha's serves a variety of American-esque foods, including some of the better pizza in Shanghai. Equally spacious indoor and outdoor portions of the restaurant. Cocktails rotate on a seasonal basis. Weekend brunch leaves something to be desired.

After having been in Shanghai for nearly 3 months (the longest I have been out of the country), I was starting to miss America, and McDonalds just wasn't cutting it. Abbey Road fell into my lap when some American friends decided to check it out. I had a big steak, french fries (both were amazing) and a glass of wine and was highly impressed. The wait staff were very friendly (and well-versed in English), and the atmosphere was homey and comfortable. I have been there a few times with my computer to do homework because of the free wi-fi and great food. Great place to bring a big group of friends. My only complaint is that in the outside seating, the fans were turned up a touch too high, and if you're a girl... it gets a little sticky with the hair. Without the fans, it would have been too hot, though. Otherwise, love it. Highly recommended.

Went to Abbey Road this evening for a bite to eat and a couple of drinks to start the night off. Sat outside, and the wait staff were very efficient and friendly. Had some drinks and a cheesy pork offering. Did the job and the damage wasn\'t bad at all, compared to some other places close by! All-in-all i\'d say this is a good place to go with friends / a date (provided he/she likes western style food) and I will be going back. Good stuff!

I went to Abbey Road 3 times since it's been open. Just busy enough to provide some atmosphere, not so busy that you can't find a table for the evening.
Those tall wooden stools are not comfortable but overall, it's a nice place to go for nibbles and drinks with a few friends. The food and drinks alike are reasonably priced.I really enjoyed the toastie (RMB 25) last Saturday, proper ham, proper cheese... like the ones I used to have in the UK. The waiters/-tresses are friendly and rather efficient. I shook hand with the owner once, a woman from Switzerland, friendly also. Apologies I can't remember her name now. Anyway, my verdict: nice bar, nice people, nice terrace. Would benefit from making little cushions available for those stools - I would stay longer if they were more comfy. Overall, Abbey Road, will go back.

nice and easy place... 300g beef steak is a great deal... 30rmb pints of lager are appreciated... chicken dream and cordon red are good choices also... Be Aware, It can become your usual kitchen and bar very quickly...

Never had a bloody mary give me a stomach ache before, was it the used celery stalk? was it spoiled tomato juice? or was it the straw that had bite marks on the tip?
