Named after that little street those wacky Beatles trotted across, Abbey Road has become one of the most popular summer venues in Shanghai. With patio seating, cheap beer on tap and lots of (at times unfortunate) classic rock, this bar/restaurant is the ultimate expat venue. Abbey Road's menu includes mostly Swiss fare interspersed with some American.

I went there for brunch this past Sunday and we had to wait for one and half hours for our dishes. Later when my friend asked for a glass of lemonade, and they came back with a slice of lemon. I then told the waiter that we actually are asking for a drink, then the waiter said "Jesus Christ" to me without even aplogizing. The omelet was brown and overcooked. I feel bad for the owner to have such a great spot for the restaurant but having the worst crew working for him. The management level really need to give out some manner classes for the waiters.

We go to Abbey at least once a week... I would say it's our favorite place as it's very relaxed and the outside area is comfy! Good value for food and drinks and they have great Spaetzle!!!

Essential stop for any self-respecting scouser, and the best schnitzel in town... probably
