Editor's Description
Enoteca has set itself as one of the most affordable joints to be downing the drink of gods. Most of the wines are from Argentina and Chile but not limited to these 2 wine regions. It has an equipped kitchen serving up set lunches and simple brunch affairs on Sundays.

Enoteca is a unique concept in Shanghai. It's relaxed enough to be a regular destination for a mid-day lunch and funky enough to entertain friends at night. Visited there last week and was very impressed especially at how well the space was finished...very thoughtful, unlike most Shanghai bars that seem thrown together without any purpose.

We would like to reply to jojogirl’s comments. We are very glad that jojogirl is so fond of our place and has discovered its touch of magic, and we intend to keep the experience magical. We have indeed, increased some of our prices marginally – our cheapest bottle of red wine has gone from Rmb80 to Rmb 83, and our cheapest white from Rmb 95 to Rmb 98, increases of Rmb 3. We apologise if this has upset some people, but in any new business it takes some time to determine accurate price levels, and as we improve our business we believe we will continue to deliver what we are all about – the best value wine experience in town. Hope to see you soon!

Great wines, and at good prices too. You can sit and have a bottle with friends without a trip to the ATM. Fantastic and friendly staff, and - tonight, we'll see about the food too!

It is so nice to finally have a proper and unique place to get together with friends and enjoy fine wines, good company, and absolutely chill atmosphere. Enoteca is the place to be! It has set the new standard in Shanghai.

This place is a breath of fresh air!! Those who love great wine, great food and a great vibe all in a place that won't break the bank---- check it out!! The salmon tartar and chocolate mousse are sinfull,,,,only wish that the mousse was on the daily menu.

Great restaraunt! They really put in a wonderful effort to host a variety of educational wine tastings. The food is also quite good although can be a little expensive..... Going there for lunch today!

This place has great wine and great food, but the service I got at Anfu Lu tonight was not.
(We've been to the Taicang lu location several times, always great service.)
The tiny room was staffed by a bunch of people (four or five at least) who couldn't manage to bring us our food. We started to speak up when the people next to us, who had come in 20 minutes after us were served their food first. We stopped several servers over the next 10 minutes, all of whom seemed to just continue on their way. My food finally came, but my friend's croque monsieur didn't come, seriously, until after the sun had set.
In the end they charged us the full 274 kuai for an appetizer, salad, soup, and the super late croque monsieur.
Needless to say that we're never going back to the Anfu lu branch.

I am veeeery fond of this place, although last time I was there I noticed that the wine bottles have all gone up in prices. There are no longer any 80 kuai reds or 90 kuai whites. Wine by the glass was also more expensive. I really, really REALLY hope that prices don't go up more because then this place will lose its magical touch.
