Enoteca has set itself as one of the most affordable joints to be downing the drink of gods. Most of the wines are from Argentina and Chile but not limited to these 2 wine regions. It has an equipped kitchen serving up set lunches and simple brunch affairs on Sundays.

I was on a mad search trying to search out a venue that had: 1. Wifi 2. Coffee 3. Wine 4. Would not kick me out for staying too long and 5. Smoker friendly. This place met all my expectations and then some. I came here on a Sunday evening (by myself) at about 4:30 to do some work.and stayed until... 1130? (finished a whole bottle by myself. things are still a bit fuzzy..) Contrary to the previous reviews, the staff was very friendly and courteous to me. I spent the first two hours just typing away on my laptop and had only ordered an espresso. Staff did not pressure me to leave at all or hand me the bill prematurely (which I absolutely hate) and at around 10pm (one of their busiest hours) my friend came by to visit me and the waiter promptly brought an extra glass and filled it.The venue starts filling up at around 9pm so if you plan on getting a nightcap, reservations would be a good idea. Most wines are in the RMB98-250 range with some premium choices ranging in the RMB300-500+ range. I ordered a bottle of their Eno-terra S African Pinotage (RMB 158) which was suprisingly good. Only complaint would be that the tables are on the small side, the chairs don't provide enough back support, and the height ratio from table to chair is a bit uncomfortable, but i'm pretty sure i only noticed this because I was here for over 6 hours... I didn't try any of their food, but the table next to me seemed to enjoy their salads. During their peak hours (830pm-100am) the place can get a bit noisy, so if you prefer something more quiet, I would suggest going to Just Grapes. Only problem with Just Grapes is they do not allow smoking (one of the FEW restaurants in China that actually enforces this!) I definitely plan on coming back with friends or by myself again... for six hours.

We went to Enoteca for brunch today along with 10 friends. The place is really nice and it was quite busy. We all ordered the 120RMB brunch but had to wait one and a half hour to get them all. Which means some of our friends had finished their meal while I did not get mine. They forgot our drinks order and we had to ask for them several times, same for the refill of bread.
In the end, we all got our food and enjoyed it,the brunch is really good but the service is definitely to improve!
