Big fan of Paul from its native home in Paris, have to say not disappointed, patisseries and breads top notch. Wife adores the tarte aux fraises, who wouldn't. Definitely will be camping here on lunch breaks as sure to bring in big demand!
Thank god they are actually opening branches in Shanghai,feel SO excited about that one in xintiandi next to starbucks --- the best news ever!!!!Not only coz it's only 5 mins away from my office but also I am just in Love PAUL, my favorite boulangerie in the WORLD! the baguette sandwich and the tarts are the must try!
Was at Paul this morning for this first time, and it was like being in a Paris bakery - best part was the scent of bread - they actually bake their bread, right there on the premises! And then there were the cases of pastries... be still, my beating heart ...
I lived in the Lianyang area and having Paul there is a real plus. There are 4 bread shops in the Thumb Plaza; Paul, Paris Baguette, Bread Talks and Marco Polo. For a bread lover like myself, there is no better place. Beside the 4 bread shops, Wagas and Coffee Bean also offer great sandwichs and drinks.
