Sugar is the bar / lounge on the sixth floor of Maison Pourcel, one of Shanghai's most well-known high-end French restaurants. As the classy, lounge compliment to the restaurant downstairs, they host little parties, photo exhibitions, and drinks nights, popular with Shanghai's international crowd of young professionals. It's a hip but low-key little hangout -- cocktails and snacks -- good for after-work drinks or for something more relaxing, earlier on in the evening.
