Roosevelt Anniversarry celebration
Got a reservation 2 weeks ago, as I knew the place will be fully booked. Booked the second setting which was set at 7:30. Arrived with 2 friends, 10 minutes early. They checked our reservations and let us sit in the cigar lounge as they are setting our tables. Was seated 5 minutes later, right on the dot. Got a really good corner lounge seat for 3. A good sign on the start of a nice evening.
The staff was all very helpful and service oriented. They seem to know if you need something.

The restaurant is inside the ruijin hotel. Its old, its classic matching the theme of a cigar bar, steak house.

The food.
For appetizers we ordered the shrimp combo, crab cakes and ceasars salad to share. Honestly, only the shrimp combo stood out. The crab cakes and ceasars salad could be better
For mains - I had the delmonico....a rib-eye cut straight from cow heaven...wow, wow, wow. Its been a while since I had a really good steak. I ordered it cooked medium, and it came in perfect to a T. There is nothing to complain about the meat,
My friends ordered the cowboy and the other a NY strip
They gave us 4 kinds steak sauce so we can select what we wanted wild mushroom, red-wine, black pepper, and bleu cheese. I tried the bleu cheese as i never had that kind of steak sauce before. It matched the steak well,,,and i Loved it
My friends were all praises to how good the meat was.
For sides, we had spinach, mac and cheese, mashed potatoes. they were pretty good, but not great.
We drank 2 bottles of Merlot from California that enhanced the taste of the steaks. I ordered the cheapest in the wine list, but i will say it was pretty decent, thus worth it.
For dessert we had the chocolate cake with a vanilla ice cream on top.
All in all, it was a GREAT dinner
