Lawry's is an antique American restaurant, leftover from a time when waitresses wore orthopedic shoes, iceberg salads were spun tableside, eating meat meant big, pink slabs of prime rib, and men were men. The orthopedic shoes, spinning salad, and big slabs of prime rib are still the big draws of Lawry's today, along with expensive red wines, gleaming retro-futuristic service carts, and the impressive, high prices.
