Things were looking good when they brought the freshly fried tortilla chips out and the pico de gallo sauce encouraged us! Possibly, another decent restaurant? We asked if they had any 'hot' salsa which was soon delivered. It had a strange start but a nice long spicy finish so we are still thinking, 'this could be good'.

Sadly things mostly went downhill from there. The Black Bean soup was white! And it wasn't even because they used white beans (they were actually pinto), it was from milk. Never, never, never in my life have I had Mexican Black Bean soup with milk. Back to the kitchen for that dish. The Quesadilla's were huge and enough for all four in the group. Very filling so maybe we should have stopped there. Two from our group had fish tacos, which were horrible. The fish was deep fried like British Fish & Chips, not grilled like you would get in Mexico, or the Southwestern US. Another had chicken tamales, which they said were actually OK. The nail in the coffin, though, was the Beef Tacos. Pretty nauseating.

Why, oh why, do so many places get only 1/4 or 1/2 the dishes right? Adios Mexico Lindo!

My recommendation: Quesadilla's & beer. That's it.
