Kagen is the teppanyaki spin-off of wildly popular Jap-fusion restaurant Haiku, which is next door. Decor is same upscale, modern minimalism with lots of smooth stones and the ingredients are several cuts above the all-you-can-eats. Sets from 230-400rmb per person.

Just an awesome place. Stylish Decorations, friendly, good English speaking waiters, great quality of food (the Filet Migon is just...)!!

Let me just say, this place is worth the all-you-can-eat price compared to other teppanyaki places. The decor and service helped make this place a memorable dining experience each time. The ingredients were clearly on another level than other (re: cheaper) places and it's a great restaurant for foreigners and locals alike. Whether you go for a date, a business dinner, or with friends, this place is a sure bet.
