NuoMi works with locals who have special educational needs or for one reason or another cannot get out of the house to work, teaching them tailoring skills and loaning them sewing machines so they can create women's and childrenswear that are then sold in NuoMi's two boutiques. The result are sustainable businesses for otherwise-vulnerable Shanghai residents and one-off pieces for you. Prices aren't especially cheap, but the money all funnels through to supporting NuoMi's activities.
