Went there with my friends for dinner knowing their good reputation for their Soba.
Ordered a Duck Cold Soba & I really like it. Despite being a lil full, I still finish the whole serving. I've never tasted soft bone chicken stick before but for first timer like me, I still find it tasty with the crisp in it.
The down factor of it will be their service. Due to the crowd, we were told to wait outside but it seems like they've forgotten about our existence and we walk in again to find out there are a lot of vacancies already available.
After that we had our 2nd round whereby we ordered the soft bone chicken stick again. However after almost 20 minutes of waiting, it's still not served. Guess it probably slipped their mind. We can cancelled our order though.

Streamlined branch of a good Hongqiao izakaya does cheap and passable Japanese standards as 38rmb sets. Soba noodles are their thing, and they come with various partners -- tempura, braised chicken, etc. Japanese curry and tonkatsu also available. Drinks extra. 11.30am-2pm.
