Dolce Vita is an exceedingly mediocre Italian eatery with a dull, generic decor. But they actually do one thing well and that's their thin-crust pizzas. If you come here for any reason, this should be it. Ignore the rest of the menu.
Don't take editor's review too seriously, they have been too mean! Dolce Vita is a nice place with great pizzas (if you like thin-crust!), and reasonable price (beer could be cheaper!). The rest of the menu is also delicious, but let's say that in a hungry day you would need an appetizer or something. Sitting outside is nice, not quiet. It's right next to Cantina Agave and 88 Bar, so you're gonna see a lot of "life". Inside I think it's excessively serious, really different from the outside, but if you wanna try to go inside go for the brunch which is pretty awesome. 138 kuai for a nice buffet and a selection of dishes and a drink.
I was beyond disappointed with our dining experience. Italian is one of the simplest and easiest cuisine's to get right - but these guys have it so so wrong. The food was bland, microwaved and the quality of the ingredient's were cheap and inedible. I have never had such bad Italian food...
I know good food....trust me and dont bother. Go straight to Bella Napoli down the road off Changle Lu...
