Spanning floors 91 through 93, 100 Century Avenue is the world’s highest bar, restaurant and private dining room. Serving Western, Chinese and Japanese cuisine, the multiple show kitchens include a charcuterie; a western kitchen with four dramatic wood-fired ovens; a Chinese kitchen featuring a duck-roasting oven; a sushi bar; a pastry counter; and a wine cellar.

I've been to this restaurant not long ago (February before Chinese New Year). It was freezing in the Hotel lobby & elevators. When I reached the 91th floor, it was luckely better but not very warm. With my friend we have been very disappointed by the service. During all dinner, we had to serve the wine by ourselves. The Western restaurant Manager spent his time at the reception counter talking with the cashier lady. Also additional to the music of the restaurant, you also can hear the upper floor live band, it quite disturbing. Probably it was not a good day but when you spend Rmb 2000, you still expect a good service and some attention.

After hearing about how great the oysters were from a friend, we had to try this place. But reviews on (another site that shall not be named) were somewhat skeptical about the experience. Nonetheless, we decided to try it out. When ordering, we really wanted oysters, oysters, oysters but with a somewhat large selection (and me not an oyster connoisseur) the waiter was extremely helpful in explaining the differences and recommending the perfect mix. We matched the oysters with a nice Pinot Noir, a plate of sushi, and we were in heaven. The food is on the pricey side, (1/2 dozen oysters runs you ~200 rmb), but after the meal I felt I had gotten my money's worth.
The view itself, from the 91st floor, is amazing. You are literally looking down, on Jin Mao Tower and the rest of Shanghai. On clear nights you can see just about all of Shanghai.
After dinner, we ventured over to the little bar adjacent to the dining area, and had a few cocktails enjoying the view a bit more. They have a Jazz Club upstairs on the 92nd floor that is superb as well.

CORRECTION...
One of the best view of Shanghai. You will amaze your guest as a host. The norwegian salmon is a bit fat as it should be. Australian beef is soft as it can be, delicious. In my opinion, "Seasonal Leaves" is a must, tasty dressing with cooked salty tomatoes. french fries, 75 RMB, isnt it a little bit overpricey. Overall its good choice for impressing your guest, with the very best view of Shanghai, and fine dining experience..
