Editor's Description

Last updated: June 3rd, 2009

Celebrity chef David Laris is the cook behind the name at this swank, fusion eatery. A luxury marble interior and stuffed velvet couches complement views of the Huangpu River and the menu ranges from simple but elegant fish entrees to Russian caviar. A room of chocolate - various goodies as well as a liquid chocolate fountain - leads to the restrooms.

David Laris & his team understand great food!

Diner for two, good table with great Bund views and almost impeccable service.
The tasting menu combined with the wine selection is giving a great overview of what this restaurant is all about and at RMB 650 per person (excluding wine) this is a steal!

I have to agree with one of the other review here that the tempo can and must be adjusted to the guests. If if doubt: ASK!

Overall again a great dinner and consistent in quality of both food and service.
