Having heard so much about it, I finally gave this place a try. I only ordered the Laffa bread chicken sandwich meal which came with roast potatos, salad and hummus for 30 rmb (though the hummus never came).

First of all, the sandwich was alot bigger than I had expected and it also contained alot of chicken which was great to see. Taste wise, it was simply done but pretty good nonetheless. The salad was crisp and refreshing but the roast potatos did not have the crispy skin I had hoped. However, the hummus never came but I only realised that towards end of meal and by then, I was too full to care. The small tub of green sauce was ok (don't know what it was), nothing special and a little bland for my liking. Overall, for 30 rmb, this meal was great value.

The restaurant itself is not much to talk about. The staff are cheerful and welcoming. Service is fast and efficient. Will deifinitely try their rotisserie chicken next time. There is room in Shanghai for a place like Commando Chicken and I just hope they maintain their consistency. First impression wise, a big thumbs up!
