A Shanghai staple, Cotton Club has live performances every night of the week. It's a classic, dark and smoky blues, funk, and jazz atmosphere. Super low-key and unpretentious. Similar to a good American live-music venue. Expect excellent acoustics, audience/performer interaction, and a mixed crowd of locals and foreigners, young and old. It has been here for almost twenty years for good reason. Good spot for a date.
