Named after the US president to create a bit of buzz in the crowded Shanghai nightlife scene, Obama offers one of the largest and most hyperactive clubbing environments in Shanghai. A huge dancefloor is surrounded by massive TV, Colloseum table seating, private booths galore, glitz, glam, bottles, DJS, and models. It's probably the only thing in Shanghai which approximates a "super club" and if you're looking for a lavishly splash albeit slightly absurd evening, head on off to the SmartShanghai events listings to see what they've got on for the weekend.
