This large contemporary art space has no permanent collection, so it's not really a museum in the traditional sense, but it does host impressive contemporary shows by some of China's most successful artists. The building is art deco, restored beautifully by British architect David Chipperfield, but the real draw are the events and lectures put on by the museum. For a full program, see the website.
