I have been here twice, most recently for their New Year's Eve dinner. The NYE buffet was pretty much identical to their regular buffet, but in honor of New Year's it is marked up from 290 to 698rmb. That's an extra 400+rmb for Exactly. The. Same. Food. Actually, that's not entirely true, as the NYE buffet had even less vegetarian options-- the sad veggie in our group had to make a meal of rice, limp "Thai vegetables", and salad. The buffet itself is ok. The best stations are the sushi and chilled seafood (crab legs, scallops, etc). The centerpiece is usually some big roast (lamb, whole pigs). On the far end of the buffet is an almost completely ignored section for Indian food and dim sum-- all pretty mediocre. The single bright spot is the wonderful dessert spread: cakes, pies, chocolates, and gelato galore. If I ever go back (which is extremely unlikely), I will forgo the food entirely and just position myself directly under the chocolate fountain.
