Pan!c Room is a little bastion of "underground" nightlife on tourist-friendly Hengshan Lu. A smaller, new dance music-orientated lounge, the Pan!c Room is two main rooms: a central bar, DJ booth, dance area, mingling area at the front, and couch lounge seating in a smaller second room at the back. Look for parties featuring local independent promoters on the weekend, playing anything from tech house to electro to dubstep -- stays open late, late, late. Prices are average.
