Rico Rico is a Latin-themed restaurant and bar from the people behind Mistral and Bikes & Friends. The menu can best be described as pan-Latin fusion with some Asian elements thrown in. Drinks are your standard Caribbean/Latin style cocktails like mojitos, daiquiris, and pina coladas.

Rico Rico is a great place to go out with friends and grab a drink or two after work. I am commenting on the bar area and the drinks, not the restaurant part which is on the floor above (same place).
The atmosphere is modern with some hispanic music in the background. Drinks at the bar are between 30-40 RMB during the happy hour (6pm to 10pm) and they are some of the best you may get in Shanghai. The range of cocktail they offer is quite big and be warned: they can be quite strong.
There are two unfortunate things about this place however, the area its in, Cool Quays, seems a little off, out centered... which, you might guess, brings me to my second point, it seems a little empty. Mind you, I've only been there three times and I may have chosen the wrong days.
All in all, I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants a nice cocktail, for a decent price with a bunch of friends!

Slightly deserted because of all the 'coming soon' surrounding restaurants, but definetly worth a visit. Passionate chef made really nice (and well portioned) stuffed chicken breast (rmb138), ceviche (rmb55) and seabass and even took time to ask our personal opinions on the dishes. Drinks (around rmb70) were right on, service was attentive and fast. Highly recommend if you appreciate a small menu with big flavour.

The place is nice, the service is good and the food original however even with an opening menu at 350rmb it's doesn't really worth it. So at 700rmb I do not recommend it. That's why maybe the place was empty. So even if there is a huge potential, the price should be reviewed. However cocktail at 60rmb totally worth it
Rico Rico hosts a lazy Sunday afternoon with flavors from Spain, the Caribbean, Mexico, with an Asian touch. 150rmb get you six tickets which you can redeem for a combo of Paella (first come first serve!), Tapas, and BBQ and one drink. Runs 11am to 6pm.

Nice view of the Huang Pu river in the middle of Latinos Flavours and Musique.
Best place to relax and enjoy far away of the noice of Shanghai but also very close to the Bund.
