We went their on Valentines evening and had a very nice meal. Upon arrival the first impression was not so convincing since they could not find our reservation but we got a nice table upstairs and the ambiance is quite nice and also very comfortable chairs.
The staff is clearly the weakest point in the overall experience. Most of them does not speak English and the chef of the waiters was not much better it was hard to communicate with them and we noticed that also the other clients had the same problem.
We tried to start with a campari but we never were able to make that cclear so we ordered a glass of wine. Then I looked at the wine list and ordeered abottle of red wine which was reasonable priced.
All dishes were very tasty and we will surely return to this place. Also the presentation of the food was very nice. If they can improve the performance of the waiters it will be a great place.

I read the review in That's Shanghai and decided to give it a try with my boyfriend on Friday night. The restaurant is located "off the beaten track" on Wulumuqi Rd, in an old house. It is still "soft opening", the wait staff have strange uniforms and look like they used to work for a State-owned Restaurant group. We had excellent carrot soup, cod and duck confit, and a nice bottle of South African Red wine, followed by a selection of creme brulee of three flavors. The menu selection is not great. But bread is warm and nice and every dish was well-prepared. The French Chef came out and said hi to customers. Food was good, ambiance is strange ... maybe restaurant is owned by a Chinese owner/company??
