Meh! Sums up 1221 pretty well in my view!!

The food is the worse thing for me...i've had better Chinese meals out of a supermarket ready meal section! The place is always full of airline staff - there are so many better restaurants in this price range, why go there??

The decor is nice and the staff are very friendly, and it is cheap, so can be a nice experience but the food is just middle of the road Chinese fare. There are lots of dishes to choose from, and i've been a few times with friends and sampled quite a lot of them, but there's nothing that stands out or makes it memorable.

I guess that's why it's a fave with tourists....it is just like Chinese back home!

Also if you've not been before, don't think you're getting lost....keep walking down the alley way!!!

Lunch in the five star hotel, Renaissance Zhongshan Park was great,very impressive. We went there 12:00o'clock. We seat a window table. Fresh juice was served at once.In the buffet line, we had stations full of salad, pizza, pasta, barbecue and dessert in front of us. Chef is cooking the pasta lively in the open kitchen. The Italian chef introduced his signature pizza to us. Everything is so great. We had a wonderful afternoon. Tell you what we had paid. only RMB120 for the whole meal! I will remember this Azur Restaurant, located upper Metro two in the Renaissance hotel.I was told they have another South Asian Restaurant Celadon, will pay a visit soon: )
