This bar in Jing'an's Reel mall was designed by New York artists Kris Ruhs and looks fantastic -- a large space splattered with paint. The walls are raw concrete hung with Ruhs' doodles and some abstract impressionist canvasses. The menu is small and features cocktails for around 80rmb, or wine from 60rmb a glass. There's room enough to dance or mingle. This would be a good spot for classy events, though right now it closes at 10pm, when the rest of the mall shuts down.
