"Moving You Stunning Trip", a.k.a. MYST, is a busy, three-story club that's impossible to miss thanks to its brightly lit exterior. The bottom floor has a more loungey feel, the top is for VIPs, while the middle is where most clubbers end up. As expected of a local club, tables with champagne crowd the club and dancers put on shows on a stage that rises up out of the dancefloor. They book a lot of big name DJs here -- the commercial sort that end up on the "Top 100 DJs" list -- though it is not the best place for dancing freely due to the tables and crowds. Popular with both locals and foreigners. It's often free entry, but they do charge a cover for some of the bigger DJs.

I'm a fan. You go to MYST for three reasons:

    - ONE: You're loaded and your looking for your next spot to take your ladies and blow mad RMB on champagne and inhale down cartons of the finest Zhonghua.
    - TWO: There's a big name DJ playing (DeadMau5, Tiesto, etc.), and the show happens to be at MYST.
    - THREE: "This bar's closing, where's a reasonably priced place to go and drink/dance?" I always end up at MYST.

The complex is huge--offering a nice lounge on the first floor to grab a simple cocktail as you wait for friends, and the open club on the second floor. Great thing about MYST is that, as long as it's not a night where they have a big name DJ, it's free to get in, and drinks are reasonable (some 50-60 RMB, I think, but my memory is always a bit MYSTy the next day.)

Staff is pretty helpful as well. Left my phone their once and one of the staff actually grabbed in and brought it to the lost and found. They were good about making sure it was actually my phone before giving it back too.

MYST does tend to cater to the younger foreign crowd--like pretty sure some high school exchange students make their way here regularly, but overall probably more younger working folks. The dance floor is jammed into a space about the size of two badminton courts, so it gets hard to maneuver when it's crowded.

Minus one star here, because it's unfortunate the dance space is so small, when the place is so huge--mostly private tables full category ONE MYSTers that actually bring in money to the place.

I'll probably end up at MYST this weekend.
