Trouble at the 'Tang

If you were planning on checking out the metal show at YYT tonight -- Satan sent out an email blast about it, remember? -- don't, because it's canceled. For the second time in as many weeks the live music venue shall be expecting the company of city-accredited professional buzz harshers.
These people are not down with metal.
They're also not down with the chillwave, if last week's Teengirl Fantasy show was any indication. If you weren't there, that show was delayed for about an hour and a half, while while some dudes with clipboards and laminates milled around for a bit, looking assertive.
So why is the fuzz re-concentrating their attention on the 'Tang? Apparently, the live music venue is trying to apply for a proper performance permit, which is causing authoritative bodies to look again at just what they're up to down there. Apparently, they have "too many shows." The process could take a few months, so although we hope there won't be more concert cancellations, it's looking like there will be.
So yeah. No music tonight at YYT. There are, however, ear-splitting dance clubs, DJs from all over the world, open bars, and all night parties galore all over the city tonight, should you feel like corrupting yourself, morally, spiritually, mentally, and physically.
