Before I wrote about food, I cooked it professionally. The two most popular questions people ask me these days are:
1. Where's the best teppanyaki?
2. Do you want to go back to cooking?
I don't know the first but I do know the second: yes.
After four years of food writing in this city, I've had enough. I'm stopping as of today. Thanks a lot for indulging me, Shanghai. I intend to spend the last chapter of my time in China the same way I spent the first: in the kitchen.
