The Shanghai F1 - How to Get There

Okay, so the F1 Shanghai Grand Prix is happening at the Shanghai International Circuit from October 17-19. The first two days are practice and qualifying days with the race transpiring on Oct 19 at 3pm (events start earlier the previous days). Now, lets talk about getting to the Shanghai International Circuit. The track is located one hour away from the city center by car. A one-way taxi fair should cost you 100-120rmb, but there are shuttle buses leaving from various areas of the city to the track. A round-trip costs 50rmb.

Buses leave from their various destinations (see below) traveling to the Shanghai International Circuit at regular intervals between 8am and 12pm.

Buses return to Shanghai from the Shanghai International Circuit between 4pm and 6:30pm (until one hour after the final race).

Shuttle buses are departing from the following destinations: Shanghai Stadium (No. 2 Entrance - or "ladder"); the Yuanshen Sports Development Center; the Shanghai Hongkou Football Stadium (Main Entrance); and the Shanghai International Gymnastics Center.

Each of these locations is easily accessible by metro.
