By Morgan Short, Mar 5th, 2009 | In Community
Amidst all the grandeur of the ongoing Shanghai International Literary Festival, Nobel-prize winning American economist Joseph E. Stiglitz will be giving a talk at Three on the Bund on March 15, entitled "Stability with Growth for China & Our World." A professor at the Columbia School of Business, Stiglitz (considered a "neo-Keynesian economist") is regarded as one of the leading general macreconomics theorists of our times, and also chaired Present Bill Clinton's Council of Economic Advisers.
Stiglitz, incidentally, also has the ignoble honor of authoring my first year Economics text book in university, Principles of Macroeconomics.
I've got a score to you, Stiglitz. Check yourself.
Joseph Stiglitz will be speaking at 4:30pm on Sunday, March 15 at Space by Three (2f). RSVP your spot with Lisa Hong by Tuesday, March 10: threetalk@on-the-bund.com or 021 6329 9921
