CanCham Canada Day Hullabaloo

This July 1, Canada marks 142 glorious years of looking the other way, and your friendly neighborhood Canadian Chamber of Commerce is throwing a big carnival bash on June 27 (Saturday) to celebrate.

July 1 is a weekday or something so CanCham is givin' er the weekend before so people who have to work can go. That's just a taste of the good sense and level-headedness that saved Holland in World War II. It's pretty much a calling card.

So the event details are here. Highlights include raffled plane tickets to any city in Canada (I hear Winnipeg has an absolutely thriving amateur theatre scene), and the first 300 guest will receive a free gift from The Bay!

If you don't know what The Bay is, this is the rundown:

Eaton's > The Bay > Sears > Giant Tiger

Anyone can go, Canadians or otherwise. Tickets available at CanCham. Buy a bunch. I expect them to chopper me out of here when pig flu gets For Real and they need funding for that.

Actually, maybe that's covered in Health Care.
