Hey rock 'n' roller, wife of former British PM Tony Blair is coming to town next weekend to give a talk and it sounds like it's gonna SLAY.

Cherie Blair -- famous first lady (is that what they're called in the UK?), noted barrister, and one of the finest shredders to ever pick up an axe -- will be appearing at the Shanghai JC Mandarin on August 16 to talk to Ms. Jingjie Huang about "life pursuits, career development, the education of the next generation, family building, and so on."

After party is at LOgO, where Split Works pres. Mrs. Blair laying down guest guitars with BJ it-band Carsick Cars. It's gonna be awesome.

Tickets are 380rmb/person (advance) and 480rmb/person at door. Includes wine. Contact 64053171 to pre-book.

See you in the pit. It's on.

She's a nice lady Cherie- but for 480RMB I could buy my own wine and have money left over for pizza and a handjob.

Tickets to the afterparty are a further RMB480. Come to both, get a free glowstick and British Flag. That's worth the RMB960 alone...
