EastWest to Stage Ibsen's The Master Builder

by Morgan Short
in Art

Terrific local theatre group, EastWest is opening their Fall 2009 season with a little canonical Norwegian expressionism: Henrik Ibsen's The Master Builder. The play will run from October 14 - October 18 at the Ke Center.

EastWest, a locally-based theatre group featuring international performers from the Shanghai community, is coming off a successful Spring season, which saw productions of Life X 3, Waiting for Godot, and California Suite -- a little comedy, a little misery, a little comedic misery. Read a long-winded review of their Waiting for Godot here. Please accept our apologies in advance.

Don't miss Ibsen's classic later this month. Tickets are 150rmb pre-sale, 200rmb at the door. Reservations to 135 6410 2955 or email east.west.info@gmail.com.
