Whoa: Lupe Fiasco @ M1NT, Dec. 5

Big, big booking in December for Bund club M1NT, as they host Grammy-bait hip hop artist Lupe Fiasco for his first time ever in Shanghai. One of the biggest names in American hip hop today, Lupe Fiasco is a seven-time Grammy-nominee (he won one in 2008 for "Daydreaming" with Jill Scott), and is well-known to come totally fuckin' correct -- critically speaking, of course.

The Jigga man Jay Z, describes Lupe as a "breath of fresh air" in today's hip hop, and in recent years, he's shown massive cross-over appeal. (Read: even white boys gotta shout.)

Specific event and ticketing details and they arise.... seems like a lot of stuff is happening on December 5.

Lupe's been nominated for everything shy of That's Shanghai's "Best Mexican Restaurant".

Sweet, can't believe Lupe is coming to Shanghai! Still, isn't it a bit late to still be sorting out ticket details? I mean, the event is in a week.
