Distressing news. Distressing news indeed. Beloved house of drunk, Windows Scoreboard is closing for good at their Huaihai Lu location this Saturday. Rental contracts, leases being up, cosmic ballet, blah, blah -- the news came on bar management rather suddenly, and they're taking up a temporary residence at Windows Too (newly reopened in Jing'an), while they finalize plans to move into a new space, and finish renovations.
WNDWS MGMT is currently shopping around a few location options and project a reopening after the Chinese New Year holidays.
But yeah, Windows Scoreboard closing party this Saturday. And this Sunday, Windows Too becomes Windows Scoreboard, and to celebrate the merging they're offering free beer from 10pm to 11pm.
