What Else Is New: A Swiss Restaurant

This "opening soon" list isn't looking too bad: Franck's NY-style bar, a mod-Thai place, Mi Tierra's "authentic, regional" Mexican, bagel shop, Laris's organo-sustaino-recyclo Downstairs, an ambitious downtown wine bar, and now, Chalet Suisse.
It is, surprise, a Swiss restaurant, a small little place that will be done up in woods, with a menu of Swiss delicacies -- raclette, fondue, etc. An intimate and neutral "chalet", if you will. Also gonna have 60-70 wines on the menu, which is a bit less than owner Philippe Huser's other restaurant, Napa, but still notable.
It's on Kangding Lu and they're finishing up work on the place quick-like. Should be open before Chinese New Year. Here's its listing.
