Tracking Tongren (and Julu)

With the closure of the Tongren and Julu Lu bar strips, Shanghai was thrust into total disarray, but it looks like some of the more successful bars from that era are making a comeback. There's Judy's Lounge on Xikang, currently open. And they're also taking over the old City Diner/Blues Room building for this one right here. The new Manhattan has been open for a month or so. Here's the listing of the new Goodfellas, which recently started back up on Fumin Lu.
And according to their new webpage (a webpage that's streaming "Black Magic Woman", no less), Woodstock is also planning to re-open back up on February 27, after the Lunar New Year. They're going to be on Julu Lu, albeit further down by Ruijin Lu in something called the Da Tong Mall.
But Shanghai Baby, where are you? Come back Shanghai Baby, come back!
Word on the streets is that there are several transient bars looking at this Da Tong Mall area, and we would anticipate more openings after the CNY.
