Status Update: Andrew Bird Tickets
By Morgan Short, Jan 28th, 2010 | In
Hey. If you're looking to get your hands on some Andrew Bird tickets, this is the latest from the promoter:
"In case your readers are interested in an Andrew Birdy update: all pre sales for tomorrow's show are sold out. We have 100 tickets left to sell tomorrow (at the door price: 180rmb). Those final 100 tickets will go on sale at noon tomorrow, and the only way to buy them is to show up at the Dream Factory box office (it's on the ground floor, next to the elevators).
The last 100 tix will be on sale from 12pm-5pm tomorrow at the Dream Factory box office.
If we don't sell out during those 5 hours, then the remaining tix will go on sale around 9pm (up on the 4th floor where the entrance to the show is)." [Bold type added for effect.]
What does that mean? Presales are gone. And you're thinking about going to it, you should start planning how to go about getting a ticket. The sure fire way is to show up in the afternoon and buy them. Other than that, it's probably a good idea to show up earlier to secure a door ticket. But no guarantees. Looks like a pretty big crowd.
