A couple new shows have been uploaded onto SmartTicket -- check it:
The Shanghai Peking Opera troupe is doing two separate shows, reinterpreting Western theater as Peking Opera. The first is The Tragedy of Prince Zi Dan, which reworks Shakespeare's Hamlet. That one is on March 1 at the Shanghai Grand. Tickets here.
The second show the group is doing is The Hunchback of Notre Dame. That performance takes place on March 6 at the Shanghai Grand. Tickets here. So there you go. If you'd like to check out some Peking Opera, don't miss those performances.
SmartTicket is also taking orders for Return of the Soul, which is world renowned choreographer Jin Xing's new show. The show is a piece exploring the traditional image of the heroine in Chinese culture and dance. That's on March 13, also at the Shanghai Grand Theatre. Tickets here.
