Exit Ming, Enter Maxmo

Cosmic ballet, cosmic ballet... in the wake of defunct club Ming comes new club Maxmo, taking up residence in that 333 Tongren Lu heritage building thing.
If you're keeping score: before Maxmo was Ming; before Ming was Zone+; before +Zone was Icons (the world was not meant for one as beautiful as you, Icons); before Icons was something else, and onwards, onwards back before the dawn of time.
Some say the location is cursed.
Anyways, we shan't say anything snarky or mean. I personally think that anyone who opens a club and does their part to keep us liquored up and focused on triviality is doing God's honest work. We wish them the best of luck.
Maximo is opening this this weekend with Friday house music done by Afro J and Hi-tech, and Saturday electro, again via Afro J and Hi-Tec. No cover on either night. Reports have it that Maxmo is going for less of a cheese-factor than previous attempts at that spot, so we'll keep an eye on it. Lord, knows clubbing is the best when it's 'authentic'.
