Lots happening outside of the club this weekend. FYI, today is World Toilet Day, a holiday created by the United Nations to raise awareness about sanitation concerns. For the occasion, Green Initiatives is bringing together industry experts to give talks on water shortage and pollution. Free admission and drinks, but you gotta RSVP and give up that email address. Goes from 6:30-9pm tonight.

Friday, Anken Life's monthly night market returns to Jing'an. There's live music, fitness classes, craft beers, food, and a farmers market. We've heard good things about these. Goes from 6-10pm.

Baywatch vibes as BEAN and CPR Shanghai team up for a four hour CPR class on Saturday. BEAN members (which you can become by spending three minutes on their website) get a 45% discount, which comes out to 260rmb per class. Happens in Pudong from 1-5pm.

Another one from BEAN on Saturday: they're looking for volunteers to spend time with orphaned babies in Pudong from 1:45-5pm. You can RSVP by emailing them at beanshanghai@gmail.com.

A bit later on Sunday, Community Center Shanghai has their annual fundraising gala. They're the ones that provide expat families with resources on getting situated in Shanghai and run social events, classes, and charity programs. Tickets are 950rmb. Goes from 6pm-midnight.

Keep updated with more community events on our dedicated page here.
