Xinfab's celebrating International Women's day by up-ending traditional expressions of gender roles and teaching ladies to use power tools. Ladies-only event, costs 30rmb for non-members (free for members). Starts at 7pm.
Zero Waste Shanghai is teaming up with Estel Vilar from the Shanghai University of TCM for a workshop on understanding your body and menstrual cycle, as well as menstrual cups and reusable pads. From 7-9pm in Xuhui (address details after registration), costs 150rmb per person (includes a washable pad!).
CINEMQ presents GODDEX, a night of queer short films about transcending gender, thrills, and dismantling your God complex, which is impossible, because only God can do that. Screening starts at 8.30pm, the afterparty features Diamond Lil of Co:Motion/Ran Groove. Free entry.
American Wine Merchants celebrate Women of Wine. You will have the opportunity to try a selection of the finest(probably)-women-made-wine-in-Shanghai. The event will be held 3pm to 5pm. Seats are limited. 100rmb per person.
To celebrate the launch of the Skirt Club in Shanghai, throw a few drinks back with 'Shanghai's most independent females.' The group's founder, Genevieve LeJeune will be in the house and will give a talk at 9pm, costs 150rmb if you register before, or 200rmb at the door.

A special networking International Women's 2018, with an "experienced keynote" mystery speaker and a raffle. Organized by Parenting and The M&Y Group, it costs 170rmb to join if you pay before March 10, at the door costs 220rmb, will run from 2-5pm.
Ladyfest Shanghai promotes a dialogue for gender equality through music, arts, workshops, performances, and exhibitions. Ladyfest 2018 will be an all-day event from 12pm-12am at Specters, through there will also be workshops held at un Caffe Bar throughout the day as well.
It's Unravel's one year anniversary so they're putting together a show for March 22 (make it International Women's Month!!), with the theme of "Feel Like a Woman."
