F&B Crumbs: Homeslice 2, Blanche, Imperial Treasure and More
By Sep 4, 2018 Dining
Sometimes the city just has these little bits and pieces of news from the F&B world that you want to know but don’t belong anywhere. They are F&B crumbs. We’ve cleared the table and wadded them up for you. This week, it’s mostly openings.

Limited-availability set-menus at Botanik, which has opened above Plump Oyster, headed by Australian forager Elijah Holland, growing their own herbs. I called today. They have 150+ herbs on the roof.

New Homeslice opening sometimes next week. Fingers crossed. Get excited.

Patisserie FIKA closed on Shaanxi Nan Lu a while back, which was sad for all fans of Swedish pastry, but they're back on Yuyuan Lu as SMAKA, which translates to "Taste."

Blanche is fine-dining in a heritage building in a lane on Wukang Lu. It looks fancy but dated.

Imperial Treasure, whose flagship has two Michelin Stars, is opening a Cantonese hotpot ("steamboat") spot where Gaia 2 used to be. That means Gaia 2 is closed.

Midnight Burger appears to have closed. Thug lyfe and burgers, Shanghai was not ready. Prime corner real estate, that one.

Parlour is holding its grand opening this weekend with a grand party. After that it’s just "open".
