At least part of 9 Dongping Lu has undergone another conceptual overhaul. Once upon a time, the place was called Lapis Lazuli and remained so for years.

More recently it became La Cocina. Now they've once again retooled the second floor to make way for Lanna, a Yunnan and northern Thai "inspired" concept.

I use the word "inspired" because they do. The word is used to describe several dishes, like "Dali inspired braised pork" or "Lagu inspired black-bone chicken soup" or "Chiang Mai inspired green curry" And while it may be inspired by the cuisine of that region, there isn't much about the place that is inspiring.
