This just in from our "This Week in David Laris" Desk: The Purple Onion is set to close its doors this Sunday (January 15). The landlord, Old House Inn, has opted not to renew the Mediterranean restaurant's lease.
Laris, however, hasn't given up hope on the concept just yet. In his words "While it's unfortunate that we cannot continue the concept within this particular space, we believe very much in the strength of this brand, and we fully intend to re-open The Purple Onion when we find the right next location."
