Bit of a slow week for restaurant news, but damn if there isn't some tasty juice being poured around town. Tomorrow night (June 16), The Peninsula's fancy schmancy Chinese restaurant Yi Long Court hosts Annette Siegrist of Dr. Buerklin Wolf Estate, one of Germany's premiere producers of Riesling. I used to sell the stuff back in the US. I give it my personal seal of approval. Yi Long are pairing it with and eight-course dinner for 850rmb + 15% per. Yeah. It's not cheap, but hey, it's the Peninsula. It'll probably be pretty tasty. For more details on the dinner you can click right here.
