So yeah, the three Heineken concerts are free concerts. (!!!) And entry is being done by first come first serve. Hmm, Armin Van Buuren playing a free show in Shanghai on Friday night. Do organizers think it's going to reach capacity? Yes, yes they do. How deep does your trance fandom run? The doors to Friday's event open at 4pm. Then there is a slew of other artists leading up to AVB -- DJ Wordy among others -- and Van Buuren is going to play from 9pm. So. It's a get down early and camp out kind of thing. The capacity of the venue is 1000 people. (2000 glow-sticks then, if my math checks out.)
Same goes for the Saturday and Sunday concerts. And on those days, it's a full day of activities and performances. Doors for Saturday and Sunday are 10am, with performances taking place in the evening, and headliners on at 9pm. Entry is walk-up only. If there's room to get in at a given time, you're in.
Event details here.
Pro-tip: A bunch of the other venues in and around the Kerry Center are hosting discounts. In particular, Calypso is hosting pit stop parties as well.
