For the season premiere, Cages is throwing a feast worthy of the Red Keep! For a king's ransom (888rmb), they'll serve you a whole roast suckling pig, honey thyme glazed carrots, garlic mushrooms, bacon fat fried potatoes, beer bread, and four 1 liter steins of lager. Not stuffed swan to be seen, unfortunately. Feeds 4-6. Silverware is optional, quaffing and hearty back-slapping encouraged. Book ahead, you beasts. Showing starts at 9pm.
They'll also be showing the rest of the season every Monday.
A new House appears! House Stone is streaming the Season Premiere (and every subsequent week), and offering "Fire and Ice" beer flights for 88RMB. Pair it with a Cali burger for 148RMB. Or get a Tomahawk steak and the flight comes for free, in a feat of logistical sorcery.
Plus, costume party! Dress up like your favorite Westeros character (nudity frowned upon but as far as we can tell, not explicitly banned) and get your first Fire and Ice beer flight on the house, plus other costume contest prizes. Showing starts 7.30pm.
Specters is putting the show up every Monday on their back wall. Happy Hour 8-10pm, tits, dragons and good times from 10pm, which means you could watch it at Stone, then head over here for the instant replay. There're no prizes for showing up in costume but they're fans of handicrafts so you might get a free Fireball shot or something.
The Rooster continues to be your home for all pop-culturally relevant screenings! Like last year they'll be serving up a special Game of Thrones Blonde Ale from New York's premiere craft brewery, Brewery Ommegang, for 40rmb per bottle. A blonde ale fit for House Lannister, with 100% less murder-incest! Showing starts 8pm.
Camel Group's doing a simple showing of the latest episode in the backroom every Monday. Starts at 7.30pm. The same thing is also happening at The Hop Project!
Hongkou's little theater that could, The Pearl will be projecting Cersei's callous, sexy smirk up on their big 8.5m screen. Every week they'll be showing the previous episode from 7.30pm and then the new episode from 8.30pm. Free entrance and free popcorn! They'll have wings and burger deals too.
Season 7 Recap
Don't remember what happened last season? Forgivable: it was a year ago. [SPOILER ALERT] Daenerys' three dragon lead has narrowed to 2:1, Theon got his balls back but only figuratively, Hodor made grown men cry, and everyone you love is dead, so is Littlefinger.
The Pottery Workshop is screening the final two episodes of Season 7 to get you warmed up for Sunday's premiere of the final season. GinFest Happy Hour (Peddlers Craft Gin cocktails) at 6.30pm, screening starts at 7.30pm. In English, with Chinese subtitles. Screening is free, cocktails start at 30rmb.
Catch up on where we left off last year with Season 7's finale at The Hop Project on Sunday, April 14 from 7pm.
