Now Open: Kung Fu Komedy Club's Comedy Club
By Feb 8, 2013 Nightlife

TELL EVERYONE

Kung Fu Komedy have cut a deal with Masse to have exclusive use of the back room of the bar, and they're going to run it as a full-time comedy venue. The first show is tonight, a new year showcase with Damon Sumner, William Childress, Turner Sparks, Andy Curtain, Tammy Imig and Audrey Murray.

After CNY, the club's going to be open every Wednesday for their open mic night (free to get in, free stand up and make a fool of yourself) and then every Saturday night for regular stand-up shows, which start 9pm and cost 50rmb.

There'll also be occasional Friday shows and they're intending to bring at least one international guest over each month. The first of those is the return of Butch Bradley for two shows on March 1 and 2. He was here last year, doing a show at Malone's. We did this with him. What fun we had.

For full listings of all their upcoming events, you can also check this. Congratulations to Kung Fu Komedy. If you're going down to the launch party tonight, it starts 8:30pm, but get their early to secure the best seats.
