Now Open: Upstairs at Urbn

The Urbn Hotel has carved out yet another tiny niche in which to tie one one. This time, they've converted what was once an exclusive penthouse terrace into a rooftop champagne lounge named, appropriately, Upstairs. We got a sneak preview last night and have to say it's pret-tay, pret-tay, pret-tay good. Nothing too flashy, just a few seats and tables hemmed in by hedges with towering skyscrapers overhead. Overall it's quite cozy and intimate -- a proverbial "hidden gem," if you will.
Anyway, it debuts tonight (though you might want to bring an umbrella) and they've got a two-for-one happy hour on house spirits, wines, and beers from 6-8pm.
